Arriving to Hyvinkää

Hyvinkää is easily accessed by train, by bus, or by car, with good connections from all over Finland.

The train will take you directly to Hyvinkää railway station, with regular departures from Helsinki and other major cities. From the station, it’s a short taxi or bus ride to Hyvinkää Airfield, where Maxpo is held.

Means of transportation in Hyvinkää

Once you arrive at Hyvinkää railway station or bus station, there are several ways to reach the exhibition area at Hyvinkää Airfield.

Local bus
Public bus lines 2, 11, and 12 stop closest to the airfield. Get off at the Alttarikivi stop. Walk along Ilmailutie (a pedestrian/cycle path) and follow the address Ilmailutie 104.

Bus connection from Hyvinkää train station to Hyvinkää Airfield:

  • Hyvinkää train station – Maxpo exhibition area – Hyvinkää train station
  • Departures from Hyvinkää train station on Thu, Fri and Sat, on the hour at 08, 09, 10, 11, 12. NOTE! Break between 12–14, then again at 14, 15, 16, 17.
  • Departures from the exhibition area to the train station: 8:30, 9:30… from the northern ring road bus parking area
  • The last return from the exhibition area is at 17:30 on Thursday and Friday
  • The last return from the exhibition area is at 16:30 on Saturday

The bus service is provided in cooperation with INFRA ry, enabling smooth and effortless travel for fair visitors.

By car
Hyvinkää Airfield is easily reached by car, with parking available on-site for visitors and exhibitors. Parking is free of charge. Please note that there are no EV charging stations available at the event area.

On foot / by bicycle
For those staying nearby, the airfield is accessible on foot or by bicycle, with dedicated pathways connecting the town centre to the venue.

Hyvinkään paikallisliikenne

Taxis are available at the railway station and can be booked in advance for a smooth arrival. This is the most convenient option, especially if travelling with luggage or samples.

At the venue you’ll find food and refreshments to keep you going throughout the day, and Hyvinkää town centre offers plenty of great places to fill your stomach and quench your thirst as well.

We like to remind you that restaurants may be busy during Maxpo week. We recommend booking a table in advance if you’re planning to eat in town.

Parking & entrance

Professional, student, teacher, or anyone interested in the industry – welcome to Maxpo fair for free!

Entry is free for registered attendees. We recommend registering in advance, but you can also do it at the entrance.

Children under 16 can enter the event for free without registration. Children under 16 must come with a teacher or adult.

Enter “Pohjoinen kehätie 493” into your navigation system and follow the Maxpo signs to the parking area. Parking is free of charge. Please note that there are no EV charging stations available at the event area.

Exhibitors can park in the southern and northern parking areas. Visitors can park in the eastern parking area.

Safety – Please note!

Please note the following when arriving at Maxpo:

  • For safety reasons, only guide dogs are allowed in the exhibition area.
  • There is no ATM on site, but payment terminals are available in restaurants and at the ticket office.
  • Cigarettes are not sold on the premises. The nearest purchase points are in Hyvinkää city center.
  • The organizer does not provide wheelchairs for loan on site.

The fair is held at Hyvinkää Airport.

Entrance to the fairgrounds is via Pohjoinen kehätie. A taxi stand is located outside the main gate. Parking is free. Please note that there are no electric vehicle charging stations on the event grounds.
